Bifold windows can open up an interior space and give a wonderful indoor/outdoor feel, increasing natural light and airflow into your home. They have a wide opening and are strong and secure. The windows can be pushed to stack in a specific area of the window frame to give an uninterrupted, expansive view outside. They're customisable to the area you wish to install them and can be made to part to the side or in the middle.

Bifold window configurations to suit your lifestyle
Our bifold windows can be designed in a variety of configurations depending on the available opening, desired direction of travel and how the window will be used.
Options can include:
- Two or more folding panels
- Panels folding to one side or splitting in both directions
- Inward- or outward-opening arrangements where appropriate
- Different sill arrangements depending on weather exposure and design
- Integrated serving benches for kitchens, bars and entertaining areas
- Coordinating bifold doors and windows
- High-performance Thermawood double glazing
- Brio or other appropriate folding hardware
Panel sizes and configurations depend on the overall opening, glass weight, exposure and hardware limits. Early design input helps ensure the finished system operates smoothly and achieves the required weather performance.
If a Centor retractable insect screen is required, it should ideally be included during the initial design stage.
Every bifold window is custom made to suit the building, including unusual sizes and high-end architectural projects where the windows form part of a wider timber joinery package. Choose from Low-E, safety, privacy and acoustic glazing options to achieve the performance you need.
